ALFABET Orientation week

Orientation week for incoming ALFABET students

The ALFABET Orientation week for incoming students supported by ALFABET Erasmus Mundus grants was held during the last week in September in Prague. The Orientation Week brings together students who are awarded with an ALFABET scholarship for full master (24 months) and full doctorate (36 months), staff and representatives of the Universities where these students are starting their studies in Europe and Asian project partners representatives.

40 students participated  the Orientation week. The objectives of this event were threefold:

The Orientation week was connected to the Interactive workshop on “Employability of Erasmus Mundus alumni and new approaches of Erasmus +”. This workshop  was the closing event of the ASK Asia project, an Erasmus Mundus Action 3 project facilitated in 6 Asian countries (Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Mongolia, Thailand and Vietnam) aiming to evaluate the competitiveness of Erasmus Mundus alumni in the field of agriculture and related life sciences through the experience of alumni and the expectations of their employers.
